Horizon Home Health & Hospice is thrilled to announce the opening of our dedicated wound care clinic in Twin Falls, now ready to provide specialized care. We continue to offer expert wound care to patients in the comfort of their homes as well.
- Meet Our Providers
Dr. Vilas Deshpande, MD, FACS, WCC
Dr. D is a board-certified surgeon with more than 30 years of experience, including over two decades dedicated to wound care, wound-related surgeries, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. He has served as Medical Director of Wound Care Services at a Critical Access Hospital, delivering care across clinics, rehab centers, and hospital settings. Trained in India, the UK (NHS), and the U.S., Dr. D completed his General Surgery Residency at UNLV and a Head & Neck Surgery Fellowship at Montefiore Hospital (Albert Einstein College of Medicine). His expertise spans general surgery, head and neck cancer treatment, and thyroid and parathyroid disease. Outside of medicine, he enjoys photography, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Brandi Harbaugh, MA
Brandi has worked in healthcare for more than 15 years, with an Associate’s degree in Medical Assisting and experience in both patient care and office settings. Passionate about serving her community, she is dedicated to providing excellent, compassionate care. Born and raised in Idaho, Brandi has been married to her husband, Jade, for 22 years and is a proud mom and grandmother. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, fishing, hunting, boating, camping, and spending time outdoors with her family.
Erica Sommer, NP
Erica began her healthcare career as a CNA before becoming an EMT Paramedic in Las Vegas. Driven to expand her knowledge, she earned dual associate degrees in Biology and Nursing with honors, later completing her BSN and ultimately her Master of Science in Nursing at Maryville University, graduating summa cum laude as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her career has taken her from emergency nursing in underserved communities to a variety of specialties including cardiopulmonary care, critical care, and oncology. She joined Horizon in 2024, where she enjoys building lasting connections and providing compassionate, holistic care. Outside of work, Erica is a devoted wife and proud mom of two who loves traveling, motorcycle rides, and time with family and friends.

We treat a wide range of wounds including diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, and traumatic wounds.

We offer wound care in our wound care clinic in Twin Falls, as well as in-home wound care for the Magic Valley and surrounding areas.
